As products grow, maintaining visual and functional consistency becomes a massive challenge. This is where Design Systems come into play. They are the single source of truth for your product's UI components, typography, colors, and usage guidelines.
A good design system goes beyond just a UI kit in Figma. It includes the corresponding React (or other framework) components, detailed documentation on *when* and *how* to use them, and accessibility guidelines.
Start small. Audit your current UI, identify the most repeated elements (like buttons and inputs), and standardize those first. A design system is a product itself, and it should iterate and improve over time.
